Movie Review (as printed in the Ricks College Scroll movie section, December 1994) |
|||
| The film "Leo Raw" is the ranting and ravings of a character named Big Leo. Played by Paul Phillips, the character teeters on reality and fiction mirroring Paul's real life. The movie was filmed one night when Paul was feeling ready to portray the character in all its glory. What is caught on tape is a rare performance by Paul in which he is uninhibited and unrestrained. He makes it a point to push the envelope on many topics. Sometimes he comes across as very comical, other times the embellishment is thick. Overall, Paul delivers an incredible performance of a man much rawer than can be described here. After this film, Paul will no doubt be categorized as a comic genius. | |||
